Prince David Kintu Wasajja  today Morning tied the knote with Marion Elizabeth Nankya at Rubaga Cathedral in Kampala, The ceremony was Presided over by the Archbishop Kampala, Diocese, Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga
Prince Wasajja is the younger brother to Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and his Personal confidant, while Marion is the daughter  of Bukoto South MP Mathias Nsubuga Birekeraawo and Ms Jolly Nsubuga.
Our reporter,  who was at the Ceremony says it started at 11pm with Smartly Dressed Guests Making their way into the Catholic Church’s Seat of Power  on Rubaga Hill, which makes up part of the original Seven Hills on which Kampala was built, to catch a Glimpse of the Lovely Couple as they Made their way in. With inappropriately Dressed Guest being turned away 100 metres before they even get to the venue
Thousands of Baganda youth groups started arriving aboard Coasters (mini-buses),yesterday mainly from Masaka where the Bride Hails, with kids faces visible through the windows none of them aware of  the significance of the Ceremony they were Just about to witness
Over 1, 000 guests were placed on the invitation list for the wedding. Already, colourful scenes at Lubaga as smartly dressed guests are already at the venue waiting for a security check. Need I tell you that security detail is set to be tight.
Outside in the compound, the Uganda Police band was playing. and It sure is a good day for the kingdom, and a good one for the vendors too. Already, some are seen prowling the area outside the grand cathedral with merchandise, mostly Buganda Kindgom stuff. Calendars, pens, books, and a whole lot more. Call it an easy day for a good sale!
In attendance were the Vice President,Edward Kiwanuka Sekandi,The Kabaka who was also Here as the Groom’s Father, Lubaga South Mp Ken Lukyamuzi, Former Church of Uganda Head Rt Reverand Dr Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo, Former Namirembe diocese bishop Dr. Samuel Balagadde Ssekkade, Kampala Metropolitan Police Boss, Lord mayor Erias Lukwago, Land Commission Boss Mayanja Nkanji  and many other other Diginitaries. With Security Being Manned by Kampala North Operations Commander Sam Omara
By Press time the Couple was Due to Host a  royal Reception which at the Kabaka’s Main Palace the Twekobe,  and it is scheduled for between 8.00pm and 9.00pm after which the cutting of the cake and entertainment will follow.
A  ball will crown the day as guests will throw on their dancing shoes, ease into some loose clothing borrow some of their dancing prowess and groove away into the wee hours of Sunday morning.
