MWENYEKITI wa Kamati ya Mashindano ya Miss Tanzania, Hashimu Lundenga Jumamosi iliyopita alimtimua mshiriki wa shindano la Redd’s Miss Morogoro 2013, Saphina Chumba (20) jukwaani wakati shindano hilo lilipokuwa likiendelea.
Tukio hilo lilitokea Jumamosi iliyopita katika Ukumbi wa Hoteli ya Kitalii ya Nashera mjini hapa wakati mrembo huyo alipokuwa akiwania kuvaa taji la mkoa huo.

Kisa cha mrembo huyo aliyevalia namba 5 kutimuliwa ni kukiuka maadili na kanuni za mashindano hayo kwa kuvaa nusu utupu mbele ya mgeni rasmi ambaye alikuwa Mbunge wa Kilosa, Mustapha Mkulo na mbele ya Kamati nzima ya Miss Tanzania.
Baada ya kuona jinsi alivyovaa, Lundenga na kamati yake walikubaliana kumtimua mshiriki huyo kwa kumwita Jaji Mkuu wa shindano, Alex Niktasi na kumtaka amuondoe haraka.
Mbali na Chumba, pia jaji alimtimu mrembo mwingine aliyevalia namba 8, Neema Joel (20) kutokana na kushiriki shindano  hilo mara mbili mwaka huu, inadaiwa mara ya kwanza alishiriki mkoani Arusha.

Inasemekana Kardashian, 32, alikuwa na West pembeni mwake wakati wa kujifungua, kumkaribisha duniani binti yao mwezi mmoja kabla ya muda uliotarajiwa. Tarehe halisi ya kujifungua ilitazamiwa kuwa Julai 11.

"Kim aliugua Ijumaa usiku na hatimaye kupata mtoto mapema jumamosi," chanzo cha hospitali kimeileza Us Weekly. “Inafurahisha, wote wako katika hali nzuri!"

Kanye West, 36, na Kim - wote wawili wakiwa ndo mara ya kwanza kuwa wazazi, wamekuwa wapenzi tangu Aprili 2012.

Of course they put on their best smiles for the cameras, and their coiffure and make-up was perfect. Their poise in red or green knee-length asymmetrical dresses immaculate.
And on Friday evening at the Serena Kampala Hotel, the 22 girls that will fight for the coveted Redd’s Miss Uganda 2013/14 were presented to the press and a few invited guests.

It wasn’t a night for them to hit the runway with their best gaits, that’s why some of them like the Northern beauty queen Judith Acayo seemed to run through her walk, but they looked exceptional in their dresses. They accessorized the dresses with either thin or large buckled belts that matched the colour of their shoes.

They were supposed to be 20 finalists, but according to organizer Brenda Nanyonjo, they were overwhelmed by the quality of girls that turned up at the national pre-selection prelims held last Wednesday at Garden City, Rooftop. But it seems crowds had eyes for the Miss Western beauty queen Anita Kyarimpa, judging by the screams that rent the air when she strutted the runway.

But then there were other girls who oozed that runway attitude and killed it. That girl Jaylor Burungi was one of them. We will wait and see what she will do considering a lot is noted before one becomes Miss Uganda, and not only the external hotness.

The night’s host Crystal Newman, herself salacious in her green dress, had announced two would be eliminated so that they remained 20, but it wasn’t the case. It will be the 22 who will go for a three-week stay in the boot camp on 22nd June at Ndere Cultural Centre, Ntinda.

The search for 2013/14 Miss Uganda, partly sponsored by Vision Group’s Kampala Sun and Kezzi Entertainment, has been on for the past two months with the scouts scouring the Northern, Western, Central and Eastern region for the queens.  In Judith Acayo (Northern) Anita Kyarimpa (Western), Stella Nantumbwe (Central) and Margaret Ilwanu (Eastern), they got the regional queens who won the first four slots of the top 20 finalists.

The final will be held on July 13th at Serena Kampala Hotel.

Women’s handbags are contaminated with more bacteria than the average toilet, a new study has revealed.
 Tests showed that one in five handbag handles is home to sufficient bacteria to pose a risk to human health.

The research also revealed that the dirtiest item in the average handbag is hand cream – bottles of hand cream were found to carry more bacteria than the average toilet seat.

Lipstick and mascara packets were found to be little better.

The tests, carried out by Initial Washroom Hygiene, also revealed that leather handbags are the most bacteria-riddled as the spongy texture provides the perfect conditions for bacteria to grow and spread.

The researchers suggest that women should regularly clean their hands and bags with antibacterial wipes or gel to prevent cross-contamination.

Peter Barratt, Technical Manager at Initial Hygiene, said: ‘Handbags come into regular contact with our hands and a variety of surfaces, so the risk of transferring different germs onto them is very high, especially as bags are rarely cleaned.

‘Once these germs are on the bags, they can easily be transferred via hands onto other surfaces.
‘Regular hand sanitisation is essential to prevent the presence of bacteria in the first place and thorough cleaning of bags is recommended to prevent the build-up of contamination.’

The research comes after another study revealed that workplace kitchens are dangerously dirty, to the point that they could cause illness.

The study, also carried out by Initial Washroom Hygeine, revealed that half of surfaces in workplace kitchens are contaminated by dangerously high levels of coliforms – the bacteria present in faeces which can lead to outbreaks of gastrointestinal disease.

It also showed that more than a quarter of draining boards were found to have four times the safe level of coliforms.

The research also revealed that the handles of shared fridge-freezers were bacteria-rife, with a third carrying high levels of coliforms, whilst 30 per cent of shared microwaves were also shown to be contaminated around the handles and buttons.

Beyoncé is pregnant with her second child. Multiple sources have confirmed the news after one of the worst-kept secrets in showbusiness. The singer already has a 15-month-old daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay-Z.

The news was confirmed to E! news, after a week of speculation during which Beyoncé cancelled her Mrs. Carter Show performance in Antwerp, Belgium, citing "dehydration and exhaustion".

013 has had a number of fashion shows, but we must agree Helen Lukoma’s show at the Silk fashion Nite last week was honest and different. She admitted right from the beginning that she did not design the clothes, but was showcasing hat she has in her boutique on Kampala Road.

The former Obsessions and HB Toxic musician also made sure people knew what was being showcased by having a model hold a black and white poster to indicate what collection was coming up next.

Pregnant Kim Kardashian has admitted she's "a bit nervous and anxious" ahead of her July due date.

"As I’m counting the days until I finally get to be a mother, I’m a bit nervous and anxious but also excited knowing that I learned from the very best" she wrote in a heart-warming blog post for US Mother's Day.

The mum-to-be praised her 57-year-old mother and manager Kris Jenner, saying she is "a strong and ambitious career woman" who "still manages to put family first and continues to look out for us every day."
Now over seven months pregnant with Kanye West's baby, Kim described motherhood as "a gift". Clearly excited about meeting her little one, she said she was "honoured" to follow in her mum's footsteps and make her proud.

The fashion designer also praised her big sister Kourtney Kardashian, who is "the most incredible mum" to Mason, 4, and 10-month-old Penelope.

"She is super woman with her ability to effortlessly balance work with taking care of two amazing kids," she continued. "I am so lucky to have her as my guide and confidant as I too become a mother."

It isn't the first time that Kim has taken to her blog in praise of Kourtney, who is married to 29-year-old Scott Disick.

Kim recently honoured her big sister on her personal blog writing, "You have always mentored me even if you never knew it. You're my big sis and I look up to you so much!
"I probably harass you now with all of the baby questions I ask you but it's because you are so good at it. You are such an amazing mom, sister & best friend! I idolize you!"

The pair have also experimented with maternity wear, and one of Kim's most famous style hits was a cream Grecian-style dress that her sister wore while pregnant with baby Penelope.

"I've been turning to her for styling advice and tips since her effortless preggo fashion has served as inspiration for me," Kim said.

"It's nice to have someone who knows a thing or two about dressing up your baby bump!"

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim recently voiced her concerns over the privacy and protection of her unborn child.

However, 32-year-old Kim comforts herself with the fact that her two younger half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner have "grown up so amazingly, with really good heads on their shoulders" despite growing up in the public eye.

The famously close-knit family recently enjoyed a springtime break on the idyllic Greek island of Mykonos. Although the family were spotted relaxing and enjoying quality time in each other's company on their holiday, they are in fact working. E! were filming their movements for the eighth series of the popular Keeping Up With The Kardashians TV show.
The family posted photos of the stunning scenery, jet-skiing excursions and the luxury yacht they were staying on, as well as several of the siblings and their parents enjoying each other's company.

But Kim was clearly missing her rapper beau Kanye and decided to make the most of being in Europe by flying to Paris for a few days to spend time with him ahead of the birth of their baby.
